no i don't think, but it should be easy because there need to put the thermoelements inside the sits.. and connect positive and negative with the chip on the warming button on the dash...

It's tempting, but really where I live the temperatures are not extreme and have the car in the garage, not necessary the thermal seats.

I think it's better if you do this with VAG; it' s less dangerous and less expensive in terms of time and money

I undertood and confirm my opinion: I don' have the wiring plan, but surely you have to cut the wire that goes to the airbag... I would be scared to do this.

You're right. It is important to be careful with airbag systems, can be very dangerous. For that reason I need the electrical diagram for wiring exactly like standard.

When I work with airbag system disconnect the battery and wait at least 15 min, in addition to other measures.

I do not think I need to cut wires, I think the wiring can be done by putting pins in the right place.

I read that on the 9n3 who have done this, have cutted the wire: I don't know if it's an "escamotage" or if it's the only solution

But that"button" is not a real button.. It's only a retroilluminated notification wich gets lighted on when you disconnect the passenger airbag with the key.. So i think that it should function even connecting in series with the circuite of the airbag...
