my compliments for you car and for all the mod you made in a perfect way!

I would install the garage button in my polo..I have 2 question for you:

1- wich button is very similar to the VW original? (plastic and color)
2- what remote control did you use? It's programmable?

1 - I tried to carstyle4you buttons but the plastic and the color does not match exactly. You can see it in the pages of this topic. Definitely I installed original vw.

2 - I used a programmable remote control like this:

It is important to the emission frequency is the same as the receiver.
To program two ways:
Electronically on a locksmith or sell remotes.
Or by microswitches inside the remote.

I have not a tutorial, but it is very easy, just follow the electrical diagram of the first page of this topic.

My next new mods:

-Install an auxiliary 12v in the back of the armrest.
-Changing the front 12v socket for lighter outlet.
-Yellow Light button on the remote control to see if the system works or fails.
-Other ......

I don't understand where you put the 12v plug...

For multiple uses, but mainly for the fridge. Especially now with next summer..
